Table Top Tuesday

It’s the first Tuesday of the month, which means it’s Table Top Tuesday around here!  I love to go the extra mile once or twice a month for my family and make a breakfast or dinner a little extra special.  The temperatures outside are still feeling wonderful around here.  It’s truly perfect for any kind of outside activity and so I chose to set this table outside before everything will be inside for several months.

I shared my turkey handprint table runner with you guys last week and how we add to it each year and so I thought it fitting to set my table with it for this month.  Also, I plan to show you guys my dining room table later in the month and how it will be set for Thanksgiving Day.

My centerpiece is a pumpkin that I hollowed out and put a vase in the center full of flowers.  I shared how I did that last month if you are interested.  My pumpkin plates came from Homegoods several years ago.  The chargers are from Pier One and napkins are Mudpie brand from a local boutique.  I know Mudpie has a website if you are interested and they are very reasonable.  I believe it’s less than $20 for a set of 4.  Can’t really beat that!  Especially with your initial on it.  And wouldn’t those make great Christmas gifts!?  We gave some to our teachers a couple years ago and I think it was a big hit for them.

Did you get that easy apple spice doughnut recipe yesterday?  They really are easy and delicious, especially warm!  And have you thought of someone to bless soon?  “Thankful for You” tags coming to the blog this week too!  Have a great Tuesday!
