Our First Wallpaper Project

My husband and I hung our first wallpaper in my daughter’s room and now I’m trying to decide what room I want to do next.  lol!  I can see where this could be addicting.  It took a full day and it was just one wall buuuuut I think we may have an idea of what to do now and our next project could be a bit quicker.  We shall see… (wink, wink while my hubby is rolling his eyes).

The wallpaper is the Magnolia Home line from Target. I believe it’s online only.   It was $56.99 a roll and we used almost 4 rolls for this project.  Now keep in mind there are 2 windows on this wall, as well.  I ordered double 8 rolls because I just really had no clue and didn’t want to be in the middle of the project and need more.  Can you say frustration city!?  Haha!  I knew I could return if unopened and that wasn’t a problem at all.

This is a peel and stick, so would remind you of a big sticker.  It seems fairly easy once you get the hang of it, but it takes some getting used to.  And it is VERY sticky.  It is removable but we found when you try to remove, it can cause wrinkles so we tried really hard to be sure before we pressed down.

I posted some pictures to my Instagram story during the process and one question I got asked a lot was about this doll house.  This was going to be an extra closet that she really didn’t need, so I had our builder make it into this from inspiration I found on Pinterest.  We have lots of hooks in there for all her “dress up” clothes.  She has a little vanity and kitchen set and then lots of junk.  haha!  That’s just her little space and I allow her to decorate as she wishes.  If ever I can’t find her or she doesn’t hear me, I typically know where to find her.  It’s a space she’s really enjoyed.

I hope I’ve answered all your questions.  If not, just shoot me a message and I’ll try my best to answer it.  Have a wonderful day!
