This is a MUST for all my followers. And if you have been hanging around for a while and follow me on Instagram, you know I made this over Christmas. So, this is the exact same recipe with Valentine’s substitutions. I realized I had never shared it on the blog and for those that don’t follow me on Instagram, you really need this recipe. Haha! Not only is it DELICIOUS and highly ADDICTING, but it is also super easy with zero baking. Doesn’t that sound like a recipe you need!?
Valentine Crack
3 cups Cheerios (I tend to prefer Honey Nut, but any will do.)
4 cups rice Chex cereal
1 cup Peanuts
2 cups pretzels
1 (16oz) pack white vanilla almond bark (or white chocolate)
1 pack Valentine M&Ms
Valentine sprinkles
In a large bowl, mix all your ingredients except the almond bark. Next, melt your almond bar and toss everything to coat well. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the yummy mix out to dry. Immediately top with sprinkles. Allow to completely cool and then break apart and ENJOY!
I bagged in small Valentine ziplock bags I found at The Dollar Tree and took to a friends house. With flu season in full swing, I decided we each needed our own bag rather than all the hands in a large bowl. Yikes.
These are also adorable in little valentine treat boxes to pass out to friends, family, neighbors or co-workers. The tags also give it a sweet finishing “touch”. If you’re interested in more information for the tags, just let me know. They are $5 a download. There are 6 to a page and you can print as many as you’d like and have to use year after year.
Have a wonderful and blessed day and promise me that Valentine’s “crack” is in your future soon. Hugs!
