I have shared these mini pecan pies with y’all before, but I wanted to share how I added the mini shapes to the top. I was so pleased with how they turned out and it was suuuuuper easy!! Wouldn’t these be adorable for your Thanksgiving dessert!?
For starters, I simply follow the pecan pie recipe on the back of the Karo syrup bottle. When following the recipe, the only change you need to remember if making the mini size rather than a regular pie size is the baking time. The time will reduce to almost half. I baked my pies approximately 35 minutes. These mini pie shells can be found in the freezer section of Walmart.
Then using this Pilsbury pie crust, cut your shapes and add to the tops of your unbaked pies.
It’s as simple as that! They were so easy and I think they turned out precious!
I love this! We have a lot of little kids in my family and they enjoy having this kind of thing miniaturized just for them. This is perfect for their little hands!! (Or my big hands! 😋😁) Thanks!
