These charcuterie boards are alllll the rage right now. It seems every food blogger I follow is making one. I recently made one for my bunco group as an appetizer tray and it was a lot of fun. I had meats, different cheeses, nuts, fruit, sauces and it was so yummy. I thought it would be fun to make one for Halloween too! Wouldn’t this be a precious after school snack on Halloween day!? Or for a snack or appetizer tray on Halloween night?
Here is a list of things I used and some ideas for you:
Oreos for the eyes, nose and mouth.
Oranges
Cheez Its
Cheetos
Cheese Balls
Cheese
Dried Apricots
Carrots
Orange Bell Peppers
Goldfish
Candy Corn Popcorn from Trader Joes
Obviously, the options are endless and you can certainly customize this for your family’s preference. This could not have been easier and was really fun to create. I think it would also be fun to create one with your kids. How fun would it be to just lay it all out and let them make every bit of it!? OR that may be a disaster. Depends on who you ask I guess. LOL!
