Happy Fat Tuesday, everyone! It’s the first Tuesday of the month and that means it’s TABLETOP TUESDAY and this month’s theme is Mardi Gras. This was such a fun and easy table to throw together! I kept it simple and casual.
The yellow table runner was a Homegoods find. I could see it used for a lot of Spring tablescapes and was excited to find it! I knew it would be the perfect color for Mardi Gras, as well. The mask and beads are all from the Dollar Tree. It is always my “go-to” spot for casual, seasonal accents.
The gold chargers are from Pier One. The white dishes are Butler’s Pantry by Lenox. The green glasses I have had for several years and I think they may have been a Tuesday Morning find. I just used solid green paper napkins. Nothing fancy here but anything different and festive is always a hit and something my family enjoys! The menu for tonight is red beans and rice with conecuh sausage and shrimp, salad, and garlic bread.
And hopefully you got this yummy cake recipe yesterday! It is a lemon pound cake that I added food coloring to, so would normally just be yellow. It is such a yummy one and would be the perfect Spring and Summer time dessert. I can’t wait to make it again and add fresh blueberries and strawberries for summer time. Can you say hallelujarrrrr!?
