Happy WHIP IT UP WEDNESDAY! I know all you mommas out there love a good crock pot recipe like me and this is one we really enjoy! We often times make these as little sliders or you can easily use a sandwich bun, as well. My kids love any kind of “mini sandwich” as they like to call them. Here, I used Kings Hawaiian Rolls. If you are trying to eat low and/or no carbs, you can easily just eat as a whole chicken breast and not shred it like I have here.
This is a great week night meal because it is really quick. The chicken mixture can easily be mixed up and put in crock pot in 5 minutes and then all you have to do in the evening is whip up a side or two. We love this recipe with Pioneer Woman’s cilantro cole slaw and corn on the cob. If eating as a sandwich, I love to shred the chicken and then add the slaw on top of the chicken. Can you say yummy!?
I hope you will give this one a try soon and as always, let me know what you think!
