Happy weekend, my friends! Who is hosting a Super Bowl party tomorrow night!? We are having some friends over and I wanted to share a few super easy, kid friendly ideas for your party that you can whip up in no time.
You may have seen the picture I shared a couple days ago on Instagram of the ice cream sandwiches. These are always a crowd favorite. I mean, who doesn’t like ice cream!? I found these ice cream sticks at Michaels, but it has been a while since getting them. I think a popsicle stick would work perfectly and you can typically find those in any craft department. And then just use a black sharpie to draw your “plays”. I used a white icing tube from the baking aisle to draw the white threads.
What kid doesn’t like a Ring Pop and don’t they make perfect “Super Bowl Rings”? I grabbed mine at The Dollar Tree, but I’ve also seen them at Target and Walmart.
Here is an easy little craft project for you… get brown lunch bags, cut the tops off to make the height you want and get you some white printer paper. Just cut you some “football lines” and glue them on. Took me about 10 minutes and this would even be a fun project for kids to do, as well. Add your favorite goodies inside. Last year, we filled with popcorn and M&Ms. If you are having a lot of dips, tortilla chips in each would be good. You could even make or buy a Chex/party mix and that would be simple and yummy.
Appetizers are a must for a football party. Wouldn’t you agree!? I shared my family’s favorite appetizers on the blog this Fall during college football season, but I know I have a lot of new followers and thought it may be a good time to share it again. This is the yummiest sausage loaf, full of cheeses and in a bread loaf. Heeeelllooo! Can you say amazing!? Serve with tortilla chips, Fritos, and/or the inside of the bread loaf. So yummy! I am sharing the recipe in a PDF below for you to print. Just click on the link.
As always, I want to see pictures, girlfriends, if you try any of these simple ideas. Love you all! Thanks for being here and have the BEST weekend!
