Happy Fri-Yay! I don’t know about you, but I am already thinking and planning for Valentine’s Day. Isn’t it just so fun!? I absolutely LOVE doing special little things for my people and Valentine’s is the perfect day to do just that!
During the month of December I kept a jar of red, Christmas oreos on my counter and had some leftover due to the kids being tired of them. Soooo, I had the idea to jazz them up a bit. I mean, put a little extra sugar and sprinkles on those bad boys and on a stick and the kids were all of a sudden begging for them!
I used pink and red Wilton chocolate melts. You can find these, the sprinkles and the lollipop sticks at Walmart, Hobby Lobby or Michaels. I first inserted the sticks in the Oreos. Then, I melted the chocolate in the microwave and dipped a couple at a time. You then want to immediately add the sprinkles while the chocolate is wet so that all the sprinkles will stick.
These are super fast to make because there is no baking! How stinkin’ cute would these be individually wrapped with a small tag for your kids to take to their friends at school on Valentine’s Day!? I love thinking of treats for the kid’s classes. Be on the lookout for more ideas soon!
Have a great weekend, my friends! We are celebrating my husband’s birthday and I have two excited kiddos. For some reason, they think there may be some cake and partying in the near future. I have no idea why they would think that!? Hugs to you!!
