Happy New Year! It’s a Tabletop Tuesday and today I am sharing our New Years table, of course. This is just a collection of things I already had, which included pulling silver and gold ornaments off of a Christmas tree. I had Mardi Gras beads and pulled out the silver and gold ones and just used candles I already had. The New Year hat toppers and party blowers were ones I bought last year at Walmart and fortunately was able to save and grab from what I call my “party closet”. haha!
Today, our menu consists of a pork roast, black-eyed peas, turnip greens and cornbread. Do you have the traditional peas and greens for good luck and fortune, as well!? I just love a tradition!
I am grateful for each of you and for following along with me these past 4 months! I appreciate all your support, love, encouragement and patience as I am still learning this blogging world. It really means more than you know! There have been times I have felt discouraged and wondered if this really was the right thing for me. It never fails that it’s in those times that the Lord is so good and sends me a sweet reminder. It seems I get the sweetest text, private message or picture of something saying what you’ve tried and it’s in those moments that I quickly thank the Lord. I do enjoy these “little” things and I am passionate about being intentional and making as many of them happen as often as possible with this family and friends the Lord has given me. Juggling life, jobs, responsibilities of being a mommy, wife, friend, etc can seem highly overwhelming at times, but I firmly believe that with a little intentional planning we can make life FUN.
If you have any suggestions and/or ideas of things you would like to see on the blog this year, please, please shoot me a message. I want to have things on here that you enjoy and can help you. I am looking forward to the new year and the memories we will make together!
Love looking at the memories you are making with you children!

Love your blog! I am officially hooked and will be coming back every day! Is it possible to make your photos “pinnable” so that we can pin on Pinterest?

Thank you so much for following along!! I have not figured out the pinning thing for Pinterest yet, but definitely plan to really soon. I just started blogging this Fall, so still in the learning process. Thanks again and Happy New Year!
