Hi friends! I pray you all are ready to go for Christmas because it’s almost here whether we are ready or not. I’m ready, but not ready at the same. LOL! I’m just not ready for it to be over, so y’all say a prayer for me starting December 26. I do have just a few gifts to finish wrapping and need to get my tables set, but other than that, we are ready to go.
I wanted to share our little hot cocoa stand we set up. The kids thought this was pretty much the best thing ever! They have drank a ton of hot cocoa this season with about 3,746,382,483 marshmallows, so we have had a variety of different ones throughout the season. Take your pick! haha! Now, obviously we haven’t had this stand set up all December, but just thought we’d have some fun one afternoon and we did just that. This stand was originally a lemonade stand, turned pumpkin stand and now a hot cocoa stand. The kids always love when we pull it out and have fun with it!
If y’all watch my IGTV’s you probably have seen my “Dollar Dash” videos and know that I found all those little Santa mugs at The Dollar Tree. Crazy! They were just too stinkin’ adorable and well, since they were only $1, I grabbed every single one they had and may or may not have made a couple other runs through Birmingham until I had 20 of them. Bahahaha! My kids were loving them. They were using them for their milk in the mornings and throughout the day and even asking for them during movie nights. And, I don’t mind them using them because if they break one, well, it was only $1. But I just loved the idea of stacking them on a cake stand for decoration when we aren’t using them and thought they would be perfect for parties.
The snacks are just good ole’ faithful Little Debbie. Aren’t they the best!? My kids favorites have been the gingerbread men, which has surprised me. Honestly, I thought they would love the little white Christmas trees like I did growing up. Both are pretty delicious!
I am praying for you guys everyday! I am praying that Christmas is a season of JOY for you. It’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle and fun craziness of the season, but I am often reminded of a quote we keep visible during the holidays and that is “The magic of Christmas is not in the presents, but in HIS presence.” Tears well up in my eyes every time I think of it. His goodness FAR surpasses what I deserve! Love you guys and I pray you know Him. If you don’t, I’d love to chat with you. He will be the best decision you will ever make, I can promise you that. Have the best day, friends!
