Tabletop Tuesday: Santa Claus Table

It’s a random Tabletop Tuesday on the blog today!  My son turns 7 this Thursday and we had a small birthday dinner with family this past weekend and I thought I would share the table with you all today.  It was such a fun and festive table to put together.

I spotted these Santa hat dessert plates at Homegoods and knew immediately they needed to be mine. They were just one of those things that I knew if I passed up, I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night for thinking of those darling plates.  LOL! So my entire table was centered around them.  And I knew it would be the perfect birthday table for my baby boy since he is still at the age of loving Santa!  Sure enough, I got big smiles when he came in from school that day and saw a Santa birthday table just for him.

The centerpiece Santa and Santa boxes are from Hobby Lobby.  The green gingham plates were a random find at Hobby Lobby a year or so ago. You don’t really think to find dishes at Hobby Lobby, so I was very surprised when I saw them.  The Santa napkins I got at Pottery Barn a few years ago. The reindeer napkin holders I found at a local boutique, but I believe the brand is Meri Meri.  The salt and pepper shakers I’ve had for several years and honestly not sure where I got them.  The glasses are Pioneer Woman from Walmart.  And Publix made the cake.  I just printed off a picture to take with me and they have always been great to work with and very reasonably priced compared to most birthday cake bakers.  I think I paid around $30 for this cake.

Here is another example of not using fresh flowers and thinking outside the box when it comes to centerpieces.  I have even stacked Christmas tins (you know the ones your neighbor gives you with cookies inside) and used as a centerpiece. Grab things from around your home, especially around Christmas time.  I’m sure you have tons of things that can be used as centerpieces laying around your home this month.  I have even thought about pulling a big snowman hat topper off of my son’s tree to use as a centerpiece for a Frosty table.  Wouldn’t that be super cute!?

Setting a pretty table would definitely be one of my favorite things!  My busy mind is always trying to pull one together.  You have a little over a week y’all.  Let me see your tables.  Praying you all have a wonderful week.  Please private message me if there’s anything specifically I can be praying and agreeing with you about!  I would love nothing more than to pray for you!  I know Christmas can be such a wonderful time, but not for everyone.  There may be a Christmas memory you have that brings sadness. Or maybe you’re just dealing with something and it is so hard, especially during a time that tends to bring such happiness.  Hugs and prayers for you!  Don’t do life alone!  Reach out and talk to someone and let others help you as best they can.  We need each other.  The Lord intended on us doing life together!  Love you, sweet friends and I’m praying the Merriest Christmas for you and your family!
