Whip It Up Wednesday: Turkey Rice Krispie Treats

It’s Wednesday and you know what that means!  Yay for Whip It Up Wednesday!!!  So, I had originally planned to share a different crowd pleaser recipe today and save these for Friday, but I decided to go ahead and share these in case anyone had a upcoming kid’s Thanksgiving party and wanted to make them.  And wouldn’t these be fun for all the kid’s on Thanksgiving Day!? If you are having a kid’s table, these would be adorable at every place setting.  And if you are a grandparent, wouldn’t these be fun to have for your grand babies!?

They are really easy because I started with store-bought Rice Krispies, so no cooking at all.  I first inserted a fun straw in each.  I then used chocolate almond bark and melted in microwave and dipped each treat in the chocolate.  I only did a few at a time because you must immediately add the eyes and candy corn nose while the chocolate is still warm to stick well.  You can find the eyes at Walmart, Hobby Lobby, or Michaels.  I allowed all the turkeys to fully dry before adding the red gobbler.  This is just store bought icing as well.

This is our second year making them and the kids were really excited to have them again!  Hopefully their friends at school will enjoy them too!  Have a wonderful day!
