Happy Monday! I pray you had a great weekend! We had our typical football Saturday and Sunday was full of church, rest, and baseball. I just LOVE a weekend in the Fall more than any other Saturday throughout the year. Now, if this weather would just cooperate and get cooler here. These Alabama temps are killin’ me!
I am sharing a treat basket that I am sending to school tomorrow, in hopes that it brings a little smile to a teacher’s face! There’s just something special about a surprise that I love! I mean, who doesn’t love surprises!?
I found these metal baskets at Michaels at the end of the summer for $1.50 in their end-of-summer sale. I saw them and immediately knew a teacher could find good use for a metal basket. I grabbed several. I sent some at the beginning of the year with potted plants. These I have just filled with a few Fall goodies. I put note pads in both because what teacher doesn’t write a thousand notes a day? I have one teacher that’s allergic to scents, so she got a pumpkin kitchen towel and the other teacher got a Fall hand soap and I knew both were Reese Cups fans and that went with my orange theme this month. Of course, I added all the paper shred and a tag because presentation is everything in my opinion. I didn’t spend much money at all, but I hope they love it and this “little thing” will make their day! I have added a PDF of the tags to the bottom if you would like to send someone a “happy”!
Have the best Monday, friends! Did you see my video last week about being intentional in your relationships!? Is there someone you could send a quick text to this week and let them know that you are thinking about them and praying for them!? I encourage you to take 10 seconds of your day and do this! I think it could make a world of difference in someone’s day! Hugs!
