I got to see Reese Witherspoon last week, y’all! OMG! A girl’s night out is always fun, but pair that with Reese and it may have been the best one everrrr! She is promoting her new book, Whiskey in a Teacup. When asked how she came up with the title of her book, she tells a funny story of her grandmother. She says that often times her grandmother would refer to strong, Southern women as being like whiskey in a teacup. The outside looks delicate and pretty, but the inside is strong and fiery. HAHA!
I went with my sister in law and friends and we had a blast! If you get a chance to see her in person, I would recommend it. It was such a fun evening and she seemed just as sweet and funny in person as she is on tv!
I decided to try her Cowboy Cookies this weekend and they did not disappoint. They were delicious! I can’t wait to try other recipes in the book. The recipe made approximately 3 dozen, so we boxed some up and sent to our sweet teachers today. Hopefully it can be a yummy afternoon treat for them!

I actually made these last year and I just happened to save the ones I didn’t use and found them in my Fall stash. haha! Came in really handy for a last minute goodie.
