Hey there, friends! I am so excited you’re here! I hope you got a chance to read my first post and just a little about why I wanted to start blogging. I thought it only fitting to share a bit about myself and my personal life and what you may be seeing and can expect around here.
I was born and raised in Sweet Home Alabama and yes, I love my Auburn friends very much, but I will always say a big ROLL TIDE! I have an older sister and a younger brother, and we all live here in Bama. I’m pretty sure if we even thought about moving, our parents (mainly my momma) would disown us. I taught Kindergarten and 1stgrade before having babies and have just been a full time wife and mommy for the past 8 years. I am happily married to the best of the best, and we have two amazing children that my world revolves around. My son Bryant is 6 and just started 1stgrade (no, I didn’t name him after Bear, it is my maiden name) and my daughter Anna Lee is 5 and just started Kindergarten. I love my Jesus, family, my girlfriends, my recliner with a book in hand, gingham, monograms, the color pink, sprinkles, laughing, every stinkin’ holiday there has ever been, entertaining, parties, food (did I say food!!!?), and I simply cannot live without my sweet tea.
You guys will be seeing an assortment of things on here during the week from crafts, a “Table Top Tuesday” the first Tuesday of every month, recipes on “Whip It Up Wednesday,” party inspiration, gifties, holiday décor with ideas from big holidays such as Christmas to silly and fun holidays such as doughnut day! We are going to plan together, cook together, party together and just be online besties!
